Georges Calistratovitch ARTEMOFF (Ourioupinsk, 1892 - 1965, Revel)

Héron (circa 1934)

A carved and engraved wooden sculpture, signed on the base « Artemoff ».

With an old exhibition label under the base.

The beak glued back on, a split on the body, a gap at the base.

H. 86,5 x L. 29 cm.

Provenance :

- Gift from the artist to a member of the présent Family circa 1935 .

- Then, conserved by inheritance.

Exposition :

Probably exhibiez during the exhibition "Animaliers", galerie Edgar Brandt, 27 boulevard Malesherbes, Paris, 1934.
