Lot 10:

SEVRES

RARE COVERED VASE in “Dutch cup” shape in hard porcelain, with a cetadon background; the base, body and lid with polychrome enameled and painted decoration in light relief of a frieze of white flowers in a gold foliage garland on a brown background. Good condition.

National Manufacture of Sèvres, 1891.

Mark with green stamp of manufacture S. (18)87, mark with red stamp of decoration “decorated in Sèvres” dated (18)91, mark of painters AB for Louis-Désiré Barré and W probably for Walter.

RUSSIA

Covered honey pot of cylindrical shape with its round tray in 84 zolotnik (875 thousandths) silver, with trompe l'oeil decoration imitating birch bark, interior of the lid vermeiled and engraved on the body with an interlaced monogram. Good condition.

Saint Petersburg, 1886.

With a large spoon, the inside of which is engraved with an interlaced monogram in Cyrillic, and four silver spoons decorated with lattice work.

Exceptional and rare baluster vase in hard paste porcelain, with a cetadon background, with polychrome Art Nouveau style decoration of flowers enhanced with gold in relief, the lower part painted in imitation of water, the upper part enamelled blue 'a frieze of butterflies.

National Manufacture of Sèvres, 1897.

Hollow dough manufacturing marks dated February 1897, mark S.97 in black, decoration mark in red dated 1897.

Signature of the painter Horace Désiré Bieuville (active 1879-1925) dated 1897.
