Tempera on wood, in silver metal oklads with embossed decoration

scrolls.

Russia, late 18th century.

Set of 6 travel icons in gilded bronze with enameled decoration

polychrome depicting in particular the Nativity of the Mother of God,

Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, Saint George slaying the dragon,

etc. Some wear.

In the upper left part appear the Three Wise Men on horseback; in the center the shepherd's star; on the right an angel announcing the birth of Christ to the shepherd. Comes from the small row of an iconostasis. (Wear and repainting.)
