RUSSIA Rare 1st prize token of the 8th group of the Imperial Society of Moscow for the promotion of trotting horse breeding awarded to owners of stallions and mares in 1909, in 56 zolotnik gold (585 thousandths) formed by the crowned imperial eagle of Russia centered on a shield enameled with the emblem of the city of Moscow, The center is set with the Roman numeral "LXXV (75)" on a blue wave guilloché enamel background. The reverse is enameled with the company's acronym and the words "1er prix du 8e groupe des propriétaires des trotteurs russes / 1909". Slight scratches, tiny dent to enamel top right.
